Doing your “Self of a The Therapist” work is what grows you into an excellent & successful Therapist!
Together we will address how your family of origin mixes with your client work and how to use who YOU are for ‘good’ not evil.
Well, that’s what I heard in most all of my supervision when I was starting out and it simply was not enough for me! Hearing only this doesn’t help you grow or learn. Together we will look at your strengths and your weaknesses. We will create a very personal experience full of credits and challenges.
Our virtual time together can be as formal or informal as you prefer it to be. I tend to be called a ‘real human’ and not a ‘behind the clipboard’ type of Therapist & Supervisor.
We will navigate the WA state steps of taking the boards, obtaining the required client hours, and processing ‘the work’.
Let’s get you licensed!
What does this mean exactly? This means that I have the required training and experience to help Master’s level clinicians obtain their mental health licenses in WA; LMHC etc.
Our working hours together can be individual 1 on 1, or they can be shared with 1 or 2 other colleagues if you want to share time for cost or other reasons.
It takes a minimum of 36 months of full-time counseling or 3,000 hours of postgraduate mental health counseling under the supervision of an approved licensed mental health counselor in an approved setting.
LMHCA’s are required to obtain at least 100 hours in immediate supervision with an approved licensed mental health counselor or equally qualified licensed mental health practitioner.
Individual one on one supervision is billed to a card on file for you at a rate of $150 per clock hour. Group supervision of up to 3 people is billed at a rate of $180 per hour, split by 3 is $60 per hour for each supervisee. This can be split by two supervisees as well. Three options here to create.
I know the cost of supervision can sound very scary. Been there! This is why some may choose to share supervision with a colleague for costs.
However, let me reassure you that this investment in yourself and your learning is irreplaceable and it can make or break your career. Having ‘good’ supervision can help you “work”… having ‘excellent’ supervision can make a successful & profitable private practice career.
