About Me
As a long-term telehealth therapist at Lakewood Child and Family Counseling (online therapy for adults in Washington), I bring a focused, energetic presence to our sessions. You’ll find this space to be warm and judgment-free, but also purposeful! We’ll do real, meaningful work together. I’ll think alongside you, offer honest perspective when it serves you, and celebrate every step forward, no matter how small it may feel.
My professional foundation began by earning my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at St. Martin’s University in 2016. I started with roots in community mental health, where I then began my clinical career working alongside some of the most complex, underserved, and resilient people I’ve ever met. That experience shaped my clinical instincts profoundly. I’m comfortable sitting with pain, navigating crisis, and helping clients find footing when the ground feels unsteady. Before transitioning into private practice mental health, I spent years as a financial advisor, which gave me a firsthand understanding of how deeply money, stress, and identity are intertwined, and how financial pressure can quietly erode wellbeing, relationships, and self-worth.
I have a particular passion for working with neurodivergent adults, individuals with ADHD, AuDHD, autism spectrum experiences, and those who’ve spent their lives masking, adapting, and wondering why the world seems to fit everyone else a little better. I understand that neurodivergence is not a deficit; it’s a different way of being in the world, and therapy should reflect that. I do welcome everyone, whether you’re neurodivergent, neurotypical, LGBTQIA+, or just figuring things out this is a space where all experiences are respected, understood, and supported.
As a mother, I carry a deep, personal understanding of the joys and weight of parenthood: the identity shifts, the invisible labor, the love that doesn’t have language. I also hold a meaningful connection to the military community as a former military spouse, and I understand the unique challenges of that life: the relocations, the long separations, the reintegration, and the particular kind of resilience it builds and sometimes exhausts.
Outside of sessions, you’ll find me with my dogs, one is a husky, who has strong opinions and zero personal space boundaries, and my cat, who very much owns the house and graciously allows the rest of us to live in it. They’re excellent reminders that connection, loyalty, and a little chaos can coexist beautifully.
I read & research widely neuroscience, attachment theory, somatic research, trending philosophy and bring that depth into our work in ways that are grounded and practical, never just theoretical. If you’re intellectually curious, you’ll find plenty to engage with here. I am Licensed & provide Trauma-Informed Care, I am a therapist that is LGBTQIA+ Affirming & Neurodiversity-Affirming.
