About Me
If anxiety has been running the show in your life, you’ve come to the right place. I specialize in online anxiety therapy for adults. Whether you’re dealing with everyday stress that’s gotten out of hand, or deep-rooted worry that follows you everywhere. I can help with life’s bigger challenges, like blended family dynamics, relationship stress, and the unique pressures that come with military, veteran, post deployment life, or current political anxiety. I can also help if you are an overwhelmed neurodivergent adult needing a therapist.
I work well with people who need to get it all out and make real change in life. If you’re someone who processes outloud and who needs space to unpack & reflect without being rushed, you’ll feel at home here. You will be truly heard here. Sessions are a judgment-free space where your words have room to breathe. My role is to be a helpful guide, advisor, therapist, and coach. If you’re here, it means you want to improve yourself, and I’m dedicated to helping you do just that. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Seattle University and have over 15 years of experience working in a therapeutic setting. I’m experienced in providing individual counseling for all ages, genders, and backgrounds, including adults. I work well with men seeking a male therapist who gets it.
I believe counseling is one of the most meaningful investments you can make in yourself, a chance for real growth and self-discovery within a relationship built on trust and genuine care. My approach is rooted in Existential Phenomenology, a humanistic philosophy that honors your lived experience and what you feel at your core. I also weave in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), working alongside you to gently explore how your thoughts and beliefs shape the way you feel and move through the world. Everything I do is strength-based and evidence-informed, because I believe you already carry more resilience than you may realize, sometimes you just need support uncovering it. I can truly understand your unique needs and build care around who you are, not just what brings you in.
I’m grateful to provide individual men therapy & also work on women’s issues as well. I’ll help you in taking courageous steps toward achieving wellness. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Therapist in Lakewood, Tacoma, and acrossed WA offering telehealth services. I am also a male therapist that accepts insurance if that is of importance to you. If you’re looking to find an online therapist in Ellensburg WA or are seeking a seasoned male therapist, I may be the perfect fit for you.
Therapy for Veterans, Military Families & Spouses
with a Therapist that accepts VA & Tricare Prime Insurance Accepted in Tacoma, WA & Beyond
As a US Veteran, I understand firsthand the unique challenges that come with military life and I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Whether you’re an active duty service member at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), a reservist, a veteran navigating life after service, or a military spouse carrying the quiet weight of the home front, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I also specialize in supporting the military community in and around Tacoma & Bremerton including families connected to JBLM, McChord Field, and Camp Murray, Madigan Army Medical Center, and Naval Base Kitsap. I proudly am a Therapist that accepts VA insurance and Tricare Prime, making quality mental health care accessible to those who’ve given so much. As a husband and father of three, I bring both professional training and lived experience to our work together. I know that transitions, separations, military deployments, and the complexities of military culture can take a real toll on individuals and families alike. I’m here to help you find solid ground. I also have extensive experience working with governmental agencies including DSHS, DCFS, the courts, and ICW, and can help you make sense of those systems and processes when life gets complicated.
You’ve served. Now let someone serve you. Reach out today! I’d love to help.
