About Me
If you’re the kind of person who likes to roll up your sleeves and get to work, we’re going to get along just fine! I bring a lot of energy to this work. I’m curious, direct, and genuinely love what I do. Sessions with me tend to feel less like lying on a couch and more like a lively, focused conversation with someone who’s fully in your corner and ready to dig in with you. I’ll laugh with you, think hard alongside you, and challenge you when it’s time, all within a space that’s warm, safe, and completely judgment-free.
My career began in education as a speech therapist in a local Washigton school district, where I participated in countless IEP meetings and supported students’ communication needs. Over time, I noticed a powerful trend, mental health challenges were often the deeper, more pressing concern for students and families, beyond speech and language delays. That realization shaped my journey into online mental health counseling for adults! And brought me here today, post Master’s Education, of course.
Since becoming a therapist, I’ve worked in community mental health, private practice, and on a mental health crisis line, which has prepared me to support a wide array of clients facing almost any type of challenge. From Women’s issues, to Men’s mental health, from working with those with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, I’ve done it all. I bring a calm, confident presence to my sessions, paired with a little Southern charm from my roots growing up in the South. Whether you’re facing stress, trauma, relationship issues, or just feeling stuck, I aim to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Fun fact: I have a background in American Sign Language (ASL) and even teach water aerobics in my free time. I’m all about movement and expression in both body, mind, amd emotions.
What I Offer: Convenient telehealth sessions that fit your busy Pacific Northwest lifestyle. I bring a warm, down-to-earth approach with a touch of Southern hospitality. This is a safe, confidential space to explore anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, your work-life balance, and more.
I’m deeply passionate about the science and philosophy behind human behavior. I read widely, neuroscience, attachment theory, philosophy, somatic information, and I bring that richness into our work together in ways that are practical and grounded, never just theoretical. If you’re intellectually curious yourself, you’ll find plenty to chew on here.
I work especially well with:
- Action-oriented adults who want real strategies, not just validation
- Overthinkers navigating anxiety, burnout, or major life transitions
- Adults who are ready: done waiting, done circling, ready to actually change something
- People who appreciate a therapist with a personality warm, real, and fully present
- Emerging and established adults finding their footing
My Integrative therapy approach blends evidence-based tools with genuine human connection, because the research is clear: the relationship is the therapy. I’ll bring my whole self to our sessions, and I invite you to do the same.
