Online Therapy for BIPOC Clients in Washington Navigating Anxiety, Burnout, and Perfectionism

About Me
If you want a therapist who actually sees you, not just your symptoms, but your identity, your experiences, and the deeper patterns driving it all, you’ll feel it here pretty quickly.

Therapy with me isn’t stiff or surface-level. It’s real. I’m calming, warm, and fully present, and I won’t just nod along.  I’ll help you get to the root of what’s going on and challenge you in ways that lead to actual change. We’ll connect the dots, make sense of the “why,” and figure out how to move forward in a way that feels true to you. And I am a POC therapist in Olympia Washington.

I care a lot about this work, but I care even more about being real with you. I show up as a human first, therapist second, because that’s what makes this process actually work. If you’re ready for honesty, depth, and growth, we’ll probably do really good work together.

Who I Work With

I work with adults across Washington State (Vancouver to Spokane and back) through secure online therapy. Many of my clients are:

  • People navigating anxiety, overwhelm, stress, or life transitions
  • Clients interested in mindfulness, spirituality, or a more holistic approach to mental health
  • BIPOC individuals looking for a therapist who understands cultural context and lived experience
  • Individuals feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of their next step
  • LGBTQIA+ or queer individuals seeking affirming, inclusive care
  • Looking for culturally responsive anxiety therapy online Washington

Have you ever said to yourself “I can’t relax even when things are good” or “I’m burnout but still functioning”.  I’m likely a great fit to help you with this!

What I Help With

  • Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
  • Life transitions and identity exploration
  • Relationship challenges and non-violent communication
  • Burnout and feeling stuck
  • Cultural identity and lived experience as a BIPOC individual
  • Mind-body connection and emotional awareness
  • Culturally aware therapy for burnout, perfectionism, and anxiety
  • I offer online mindfulness classes for anxiety reduction also! Join us!

If any of these statements are familiar, I can help… “why do I feel anxious all the time” or “how to stop overthinking” and what about…”I have anxiety but successful career”.  You’re in the right place.

How I Work

My approach goes deeper than quick fixes and actually leads to change.  We start by understanding what’s underneath the surface. Your patterns, experiences, and the pressure you’ve been carrying. Then we get practical. Together, we build tools you can use in real life: setting boundaries without guilt, managing anxiety in high-pressure environments, breaking burnout cycles, and loosening perfectionism so you’re not constantly pushing or proving.

I work especially well with high achievers, women, and BIPOC clients who are used to holding it all together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed or stretched thin underneath. You might be navigating burnout, identity stress, or the weight of expectations. Here, you don’t have to code-switch, over-explain, or shrink yourself to be understood.

I also integrate mindfulness and mind-body tools in a way that’s grounded and usable, helping you regulate stress, stay present, and respond differently instead of repeating the same patterns.

This work is collaborative, honest, and culturally aware. You set the pace but we’re here for real movement, not just insight.

A Bit About Me

My background includes working in mental health alongside youth services within a police agency in California, where I supported individuals and families navigating complex and high-stress situations. Now, private practice therapy is my life’s work, and I feel genuinely grateful every day to sit with people, do this work, and be part of your growth.

I’m deeply committed to ongoing growth, both personally and professionally. My work is informed by mindfulness-based practices, nonviolent communication, and participation in meditation communities including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ spaces. These experiences shape the way I show up: present, intentional, and grounded.

I offer convenient, secure telehealth sessions for adults anywhere in Washington State, including Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Spokane, Pullman, and the Tri-Cities.
